Featured Nonprofit: Chloe's Cupboard

At this event we are honored to highlight Chloe’s cupboard , a nonprofit organization founded in memory of Chloe Stevenson. Chloe was diagnosed with Stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma at just six months old and courageously fought cancer through extensive treatments and hospital stays. Although Chloe's life was far too short, her story continues to inspire acts of kindness and compassion throughout our communities.

After experiencing firsthand the challenges that families face during long hospital visits and cancer treatments, Chloe's parents created Chloe's Cupboard as a way to support others walking a similar path. The cupboards are stocked with free snacks, drinks, and comfort items that patients, caregivers, and family members can access during their time at the hospital. 

What began as simple snack boxes delivered to families has grown into a meaningful program serving multiple healthcare facilities, including the Heptner Cancer Center right here in Gillette.

Chloe's Cupboard is built on the belief that even small gestures can make a difficult day a little easier. Whether it's a quick snack between appointments, something to pack for a long treatment day, or simply knowing someone cares, each item helps provide comfort to families during challenging times.

We invite you to help us continue Chloe's legacy of kindness. We are collecting donations of unopened, individually packaged snacks and shelf-stable treats, such as granola bars, crackers, fruit snacks, chips, cookies, and other individually wrapped items that can be placed in Chloe's Cupboard for patients and their families.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps support local families receiving medical care and reminds them that their community is standing beside them.
